This policy explains what personal information the AI Transformation Lab (AIT Lab) collects when you contact us, why we hold it, and the control you have over it. We keep it short and in plain English on purpose.
AIT Lab is an AI transformation practice based in London, United Kingdom. For anything in this policy, or to exercise any of the rights below, get in touch through the enquiry form on our site. We are the data controller for the information described here.
We only collect what you choose to give us. When you complete the enquiry form on our site, we receive:
We do not collect special category data, and we ask you not to include it in the message field. Our site does not use advertising or tracking cookies; any storage is limited to what the page needs to function.
We use your information for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to discuss working together. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us about our services, and, where a conversation continues, taking steps at your request before any agreement.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for marketing. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our email and store our records; they process information only on our instructions and under contract. We do not use your enquiry to train any AI model.
Your information is held on services within the UK or the European Economic Area, or under safeguards approved for international transfers. We keep enquiry information for as long as we are in contact and for up to 24 months afterwards, then delete it, unless we have begun working together, in which case our engagement records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it, and you can object to our use of it. To do any of these, get in touch through the enquiry form on our site and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be made clear.
